Call routing 1

I want to do a test on a new Pri we are using mgcp protocall on the router/gateway
but any Ieas on how I can rout just one number to go over the new pri to test it befor we go into production....

also if we take a pri off a Route Group and reset the gateway will it drop calls in progress on that gate way...?

using CallManager ?

setup a test route group
setup a test route list
put the "new" PRI in the test route group
put the new test route group in the test route list

create a route pattern with your cell number as the pattern
point this pattern to your new "test" route list

dial your cell number - if your call works it went over the new PRI - you know this because you did not give callmanager any other options for making this call except the new PRI you are testing
