I have 8x G450's across two locations connecting to a CM6 server.

4 of them are 10.11.10.x addresses
4 of them are 10.18.10.x addresses

Is there anyway to route a call from an IP trunk via a specific gateway to an IP handset?

I'm trying to call a 10.18.x.x handset and it keeps routing via a 10.11.10.x gateway instead of a 10.18.10.x

Suggestions would be gratefully appreciated!

VoIP calls will use resources available to the network region those phones are in.

So if the phone is in Region 5 the call to that phone will use any DSP resources in region 5 or any directly connected region.

Now if this call comes into the Avaya via a T1. It should use a DSP resource that is in that same gateway to maintain the RTP session.

It will also use a DSP resource available to the phone to setup the call but should release once the call is established assuming you have shuffling enabled.

A very wise and well respected man once told me "Shut Up!".

Gateway 5,6,7 & 8 are in IP-Network-Region 7 and 1,2,3 & 4 are in IP-Network-Region 6.

My phone is in region 7, but the procr is in region 6 and I can't get it to force a call to a region 7 gateway.

Have you defined the network region maps? "List regist" to see what region your phone is actually registered in.

Yeah, done the network map, all phones registered in the same network region as gateway 5,6,7 & 8
