I'm going to set up a group of agents on call forced presentation class. This works fine, but I would like to set up their phonesets (M3905) so that the phoneset rings when the call is presented to the agent. The way it is now there is only a beep in the headset before the call is presented.
Phoneset rings as usual on other presentation classes.

Try this, alothough note sure if it works wioth forced calls:

LD 20
REQ CHG
TN xxxxxxxxx
ECHG YES
CLS RNGB

Only the truly stupid believe they know everything.

The phone doesn't ring because the call is "forced" on to the agent. Ringing would imply that they coudl "choose" to answer the call. It is a warning tone, that's it, and they are live with the caller.

Thanks you for your replies.
Yes, I've found out that this not possible. I think it's a bit strange though because you can set a call force timer delay which would give the agent some time to pick up the headset. Now they have to sit with the headset on all the the time...

The call force timer is the time between calls. The call is not given to the agent until the call force timer has expired.

Think of the call force timer as wrap up. It is meant to give the agent time to do their clean up after a call, not prepare them for the next arrival.

Yeah. So This is the same as this configuration :
"After call, break for x sec's

Breake time is the time the system wait before placing the phone back into a ready/available...doesn't mean you'll get a call, just that you'll be available for a call. When a call does arrive, you have an option to take it or not.

Call Force Timer is the time the system wait before presenting the next call to the agent...no option to the agent...the call is live.

Under certain circumstances, the 2 feature can be seen as the same...i.e. No caller in queue..., however the force agents must have their headphones on at all time for obvious reasons
