One of our campus executive assistants claims that when she places a call on hold she is not able to retrieve it. After a couple of minutes it will ring back at her phone though. She does need to retrieve the calls though. I'm not sure what commands to look at in this case. We have an NEAX 2000 IVS2 .

Most likely she is answering a call on a line that does not show up on her phone. i.e. she has an 8 button phone but the programming thinks it is a 16 button phone. So she answers a call that has rang in on buttons 9-16 but her phone does not show the status since she only has 8 buttons. Use command 9000 to verify that nothing is programmed beyond the button on her phone.

smoom is telling you correctly. Maybe she had a 32 button set at one time and it is programmed as a 24 line phone. If you have a 32 button set, plug it in and find the line that she is answering or just go into MatWorX and look at her button config and that will tell you.

You may also want to look at cm 9000 and see if button 00 is assigned.....been there.
