Call recording on IP Setsi

We have a customer that we presently support call recording n many digital sets and now would like to do the same for their6 ip sets at other branches . We have been told that it works fine through the use of span ports on the switches ? doe anyone have experience with this ? words of advice ?

We sell a product called CallRex that integrates with many manufacturers(unfortunately not yet with Nortel).You do port mirroring with the port that the pbx use and you snif the packets and listen back thru a nice GUI interface.Works good on Mitel systems.
Wondering if other vendors sell about the same for Nortel.
Algo only does it for the 2050 softphone.

There are several ways to do this. I have some available but the best I have seen for Nortel products is the CallParot. Now they have a product called Engage. This is made by Telstrat.

The system we use for recording is versadial , it works very well on all of the digital sets but i guess we are about to learn alot about span ports ?

Good to know Nortel is supported, they should update their website..!
