Checking to see if any of you have a recommendation for a call recorder. My customer has a Partner ACS system with about 5 phones. He wants to be able to record calls for customer service reasons. Has anyone had any experiences with the Sparky+? I appreciate the feedback guys.

The Partner ACS System (PVMS) has it's own built-in Record-A-call.

I know but they have PMVS R4. It has to be R5 or greater.

I have used the sparky+ with ip office before, not a partner system, but no reason to think it wouldn't work on Partner. It works pretty well, the software can be a bit quirky at times but it works pretty well. I did run into an issue installing it on Windows10 before, had to use an older version instead of the Windows10 they supplied on website.

Thanks Critchey. I'll suggest that to them. Did you purchase it directly from the manufacturer or a third party? What was the cost? I was given a quote of $155.

It was purchased from a 3rd party. I believe it was a bit cheaper then that but not by a lot.

I suggested it to my customer but they want something that records all calls automatically. So back to the research board. Trying to get more information on Versadial and another unit called Call Assistant SD

Realize that Partner phones are a hybrid, and you have a regular old Tip and Ring for every extension, that you can bridge a multiline recorder onto. That way, you don't need desktop units, but you can still record per extension instead of per line.

I've used digital logger before. Records all calls. Digital-loggers.com. I've used the T1 tapper, but they make a 16 channel unit that I think would work with the Partner.

The price of Partner ACS equipment is inexpensive on the secondary market. Why not upgrade the voicemail to the Avaya Partner Messaging R7 with a 4 or 6 port license?

Thanks Dexman. I had suggested that but because of the mailbox storage limitations they prefer to be able to a have recordings stored on their pc. Because they are a moving and storage company they need to review customer calls whenever there is a dispute rather than using it for customer service quality control. They need to be able to review conversations that took place months before.

I didn't know that. Yes they want all calls recorded. I forgot to mention that they want the calls to be recorded automatically without having to program a button to activate record a call.

Thanks Bill. I'll take a look at it.
