Can anyone tell me how to enable the call-record feature on a MICS 6.0 with CallPilot 100?

In the mailbox's Class of Service you have to enable it.

By default all COS's come with it disabled and the feature code is Feature 989
 
If ALL Class of service options come with the Call Record disabled is there another step that I must perform to enable it to work?

You have to edit the COS.
You can edit the COS of the mailboxes using the web-based CallPilot Manager program


As far as legal responsiblities - it depends on where you live. Each State/Country has different laws regarding the recording of calls - mostly saying that the caller has to KNOW that they are being recorded which is why the Call Pilot says "THIS CALL IS BEING RECORDED" when you press Feature 989, informing the caller that they are being recorded - this cannot be changed or erased.
 
BTW it is feature 989, I think pat fat fingered it. also has anyone heard of a way to turn off the announcement of call redording? I have a customer that has a valid need (and it is leagle here) to not make the announcement (only one party has to know that the call is being recorded in this state).
