I am looking for a solution to record voice calls thats work with my nortel phone system. Any information would be great.

Thanks
Eric

There are numerous third party devices out there that will allow silent monitoring and record off any digital system phone. Are you looking to record your calls or in a ACD environment and a supervisor wants to record calls. If you go to google and type in DAC ( digital analog convertor)this unit allows the ability to record calls with outanyone knowing.
There are also desk top reocorders the you would plug your handset cord into a splitter that goes to the recorder. This allows you to control who and what is record by the individual. Hope this helps.

What im actually looking for and should have been more specific is to record all call on all or some extensions from a location other than the handset. from the phone closet would be great. For quality assurance in our sales and support departments.

Thanks
Eric

Would this be done by an individual or by automation? If is to be done by an individual who wants to listen in or record, then the DAC would work. You just won't hear the " your call may be recorded"
Sounds like you might need a larger system and I'm sure it's out there. The DAC is just an interface between the Norstar and your other equipment (recorder).

A search through the forum will find posts on this topic.

I've setup my company with some Algo boxes, which record to computer. I setup an Aglo on each sales agents computer, but you can hook things up in a closet.

I would like this to be done automatically. I was just referred by someone to a product called "nice" I want to look at other similair systems.

Thanks again for all the feedback i greatly appreciate everyones input.
