You can connect to the CallPilot's network port and program it through your web browser. You can also use desktop messaging to view and listen to your voicemails in Outlook.
CP has 9 hrs of storage time VS 90/180 Mins, and a host of other features including external fwd from mailbox and call recording. It's biggest bonus is timed CCR trees. With Flash you are stuck with one CCR for all programmed times. ECCCHHH. The work around is ugly and slightly disfunctional .. if used there is no return to voice mail possible.
With a 2.0 CP you get Holiday greetings.
You can setup a schedule of all the holidays and what greeting to play. Once it's all set, you don't have to deal with it for a year.
Web interface makes programming it with a laptop real easy.
The best feature that I can think of on the call pilot is the ability to administer and record off site. Just have to network into the CP and have it call you or a professional speaker on their phone and hit record. NICE tool if you have several branches and don't want the recptionist at those sites to know the passwords.
I believe the CLID Routing table works on both the CallPilot 150 and CallPilot 100. This is a really slick feature. You can transfer a call from a given number to a greeting table, an extension, a mailbox, or a CCR tree with a designated path.
For the CLID Routing Table to work, you must subscribe to CLID services from your local telephone company and have the appropriate hardware in your system (DTI or CI).
Finally, the CallPilot 100 does not support Message Networking or Desktop (Unified) Messaging.
Another 2.0 feature I just discovered (thanks to someone here) is "park & Page". Man is that cool. You can have options on the CCR to call John and if he doesn't answer, it parks you and pages (with a message you record) what park code you are on.
