Is there a way to take away the recording that says:
"This call is being recorded" with the call record feature?
Thanks.
George

Even if you could do it, unless your jurisdiciton has no disclosure laws (which means you are not in Canada, USA, UK, France, Germany, Australia) you wouldn't be allowed to turn it off.

I think you can but have not had time to play with this, you need to find the file and replace it with a blank recording as the same name. Dont ask me how as I said I havent played yet.

As for recording laws it was under the impression you can record away undetected however it is not admissable in court.
Unless your O.J.???

The laws governing recording differ by state in the U.S.

In Michigan, so long as one of the parties are aware the call is being recorded, you're ok. (Of course, that was a few years ago, and I'm no lawyer.)

I'd definitely look up the statute for your jurisdiction.

I hate to post info I'm not sure is current. Have you heard anything in MI more current on this issue than a few years old?
