call pilot thru dialing

We have a BCM 400e with call pilot. My questions is with the call pilot is there a keycode you need to activate it or is there other software you need to use thru dialing? IF not how do yopu access the thru dialing?
 
Thru-Dialing is simply dialing a DN# out of the AA greeting. It does this very simply, and not keycoded.
