We have (apparently) recently upgraded our desktops to Office 2010 (Outlook 2010)and now it seems that almost all our Call Pilot Desktop users, when opening Outlook, are requested to check their CPDT configuration. The Call Pilot server is being seen as off-line. I'm running CP Desktop ver. 5.00.41.167. I've gotten some of them to work but damned if I know how, and I feel like they could go back down at any time.
Desktops are running Windows 7, with Outlook 2010, ver. 14.0.7106.5001 (32 bit)
Call Pilot server is on Win Server 2003, SP2
Call Pilot ver. 5.00.41:
Connected to CallPilot server, 10.105.214.111, release 05.00.41
PEPs installed: CPSECPEPSP2S, CP50041SU09S, CP500S09G32C, CP500S09G33S, CP500S09G34S, CPSECPEP014S
It should be noted here that since the CP server sits behind a closed network firewall (Vesta) it is NAT-ted. The nat-ted addy is 10.86.254.20 which is visible from the customer's network.
We can ping the 10.86.254.20 all day long from a workstation but it's not visible from the Outlook configuration.
Any assistance, suggestions, resolutions would be appreciated. Has any one else experienced this?
