Does anyone know of any way to change the DN length in a CallPilot without losing the programming?

I know better, but I have to try.

No way, all Nortel small Vmail systems: Startalk, Flash, NAM, and Call Pilot need to be reinstalled and reconfigured to add or delete a digit of DN length.

Why would you want to change the N length? Just wondering...

Installing a MICS to replace a CICS and it is a great time to up the digit count to fit with the rest of the systems.
Also I was not sure if, like the CICS, I needed 3 digit extensions to set up hunt groups.

No way around it. U gotta repgm the vmail if you change the DN length.

Export the recordings/greetings first to save you a little trouble. Also screen shot everything (tables etc) to speed up reprogramming.

Thanks for all the help. I knew better, but when you think you know it all, the only thing you know is that you are wrong.
