call pilot on a cics

Incoming calls transfers right to greeting 3 ccr tree 2.Not being really up on cp. Where is the determination made
whether the line rings in order to be picked up or goes immediately to the ccr.
The Greeting Table 2 in records show
MORNING GREETING 2 CCR TREE 1
AFTERNOON GREETING 2 CCR TREE 1
EVENING GREETING 3 CCR TREE 2
NON-BUSINESS GREETING 3 TREE 2

USER SAID ONLY GHANGE WAS CCR 1 TABLE 2 PATH 1 EXT 225 TO 226
TRIED TO DISABLE CCR TREE 1 BUT SAYS INCOMPLETE TREE
NEW PRINT OUT SHOWS
MORNING GREETING NONE CCR TREE 1
AFTERNOON,EVENING,NON-BUSINESS SHOW THE SAME AS ABOVE

I also heard you should not make changes CP manager without disabling tree 1st

Lines programming points to the table, which in turn says which greeting to play and which ccr to use.

ccr does not have to be disabled in CP 2.0 and higher.

Sounds like they're using CCR 2 and not 1 because if 1 is incomplete they can not use it. Just go into CCR 2 and change path 1, like allworx said if it's higher than rls 2 then you won't even have to disable the tree.

Incomplete usually refers to a Path that is told to be a MENU yet there is no further options (deeper paths).
i.e. for sales press [highlight #FCE94F]3[/highlight]
Instead of listing sales agents as Press 1 for Larry , 2 for Tom somebody instead just listed their ext #'s.
To fool and complete create Path [highlight #FCE94F]38[/highlight] and just make it a transfer to reception.

I usually make it an info box with 1 sec of dead air recorded and then return to previous. That way the menu plays again.
