Check your PEPs to make sure that you have the latest level PEPs. I'm assuming that your CallPilot is a 201i. Make sure that it is not in slot 9 or 10 of cabinet.
is this a new install? those are very common on a non patches server.. the pep level is either not there at all or just inactive.. have you tried to stop and stop services.. might not help if the peps are blown away
We have 1002rp on-site and we had the same messages a long time back. A restart should clear the problem. If not you can re-run the config wizard to reflash the DSP's. You can try to disable and re-enable your MGate card(s) as well to see if that knocks it in service.
Also, post what the status of your channels look like (active, idle, remote off duty, off duty, etc..)in CallPilot Manager before running the config wizard.
We tried restart several times with the same result. We are attempting to reload the software right now. We did disable and reenable the mgates, and the callpilot saw that they were down so the links were good. I think the software is corrupt.
I probably know you, I was with MWSS-271 wire dawgs.
How about the channels, what are their status in Call Pilot Manager.
You could also go into the services on the server and try to start the down services. Check the event log to look at the errors right before it stopped. Not much help but Nortel will be interested in looking at the logs so, I would save them to a file.
Yeah, we were in class not to long ago. I'm from Vegas.
have you finished running the config wizard? what do you get on the server under port status? you said you are reloading, cp or os.. the os can cause that as quick as the cp
We had the same issues with our channels during a Call Pilot upgrade. During the reflashing of the DSP's they failed and the channels came up uninitialized. Our problem was related to languages so, it's different than yours but, if you haven't started the re-installation I would try the config wizard to flash the DSP's and see what you get. It doesn't take to long.
If you try the config wizard let us know what you get or if you re-install the application post your results.
You could try and reset the DSP card inside the server. Shake out those 1's and 0's!!!
