I have a Call Pilot 2.1 on a MICS 4.1. It was installed 2 years ago and has worked fine, now when you try to access it
comes up with inactive feature.. The two green light are on the VM and I have checked to see if the ports under maintenance
are being recognized, they are. I have also rebooted several times.
I tried hooking up a Startalk flash 4 VM with 1.7 SW for testing, but did not work. Not sure if 1.7 is compatible with
MICS 4.1.
Thanks for any help

You might have to clear the feature codes with F**XFTEST and start again. You should probably connect to the CP100 with a serial cable and watch it boot as well - maybe you'll see the issue there.

The Flash needs to be at least V1.9 to be compatible with your MICS R4.1.

As was written above, power down the CP, remove all inactive feature codes with F**XFTEST, then power on the CP and see if this gets you access.

Parameters for the serial connection are 9600 baud, 8-N-1.

First thing to try is always a simple reboot to see if it comes back up. If it doesn't then perform the xftest and if that doesn't work try a different power supply. Make sure you have a 8v power supply as the 9v were problematic.

Thanks All.
The power supply was going bad.
