I currently have Call Pilot 4.04 and have recently been ask to disable any callers from leaving messages to over 800 mailboxes. Is there any way of "Always block messages" and is it possible to do this to everyone and then go back and change the ones that should receive messages? Thanks for your help/suggestions.

You need to go to the Call pilot for PBX closet this is for BCM's.

jacksonsmom..the answer is yes in everyones mailbox
you want to block there is a section called privacy and
blocking marked the tab always and it blocks messages.

strmwalker,
That does work but do you know if they can do multiple bxoes? After all they did say they had 800.

well my question would be what the purpose of callpilot
thats alot of money setting there doing nothing?

Thanks for your replies - we would be doing this because of a possible strike and we do not want callers leaving messages in mailboxes which would not get any responses. I was thinking of making a new class of service with the restriction of "always block messages" and move everyone into it and then move out the 200 that should receive messages. What do you think? Thanks again.

the only way to do it the way it was asked is by a per
mailbox bases i see no other way because its not at a
class of service level.

I was afraid of that. Thanks again for your reply.

you can do it at a pbx level by stopping the extensions
fowarding to callpilot.

I was thinking of disabling cards(TNs), and then enabling just the TNs that will be in use. The callers would hear a fast busy. Is there a way to stop the extensions from forwarding or hunting to callpilot as a group or is this individual by changing the fna to fnd, etc.?
