Hey everyone. I have a customer with a MICS and a call pilot. Unfortunately the MICS needed to be replaced with a new one due to a fualt so i replaced it and left the call pilot as it was. But now the call pilot is not kicking in after x number of rings like it used to so users could receive voice mail. However when i go to a particular handset and hit Feature 981, it logs into the mailbox as normal. Yet when calls are coming in the mailbox does not kick in after x rings. Anyone know what the problem could be? I tryed fixing it from a 7316 but did not see any parameters in there that could affect this issue and i do not currently have a laptop with a serial port. Do you guys think it is something that needs to be changed in the web based programming of the call pilot?

log in to config look at term and sets, under capabillities - forward no answer needs to set to the voicemail dn. To get the voice mail dn press feature 985.

Thanks for the help. I was the one that set up that call pilot and i do not recall having to set CFNA to that. Are you certain? Thanks again.

He's right. You MUST setup CFNA of the sets to the voicemail DN, otherwise only outbound calls that went through the auto attendant would go to personal mailboxes. (Assuming that part is setup correctly)

However the CFNA should have nothing to with with the auto attendant not answering lines ..

Ok thanks guys, i'll let you know how it goes.
