One more thing, Just so I have it right the call pilot port A and port B get hooked to the last unused stations..right. So if I have a 5 station system I would hook up port A to station 6 and port B to station 7.

I just get confused with all the different terms and Acroynoms

Usually, I use the LAST ports on the system. On a CICS/standard sw, that's ports 115 & 116. On a MICS, ports 131 & 132.

Hey thanks for the fast reply!!! You say the last port on the CICS is 115 and 116 but in the install manual it shows port 125 and 126. Are they not used?

The CICS, with standard software, comes equipped for 16 extensions. Enabling the last 8 requires an expansion card for the cabinet- the small slot on the right side.

I have always been told if you have a MICS, to always put the CP on the cabinet and not Station Modules (even though it will work on the SM's).

I Always put it on 31,32... Truth be known it will work on any port, cabinet doesn't have to put a high usage device, on another box...
