I was hoping I could set up the external number message notification so that when I got a message on my i2004 it would call my cell phone. But alas, I must be missing something really simple. I have enabled external calling on the bcm and set up a number on the call pilot, but I guess I don't have all of the puzzle pieces.

Anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

What interface are you using Callpilot or Norstar? also how did you program your outdial type in your Mbox? Are you using Line Pools or do you have a call routing table set up?

Call Pilot interface and line pools. I set my outdial program as an external number, 9 to grab outside line, then 2 pauses, then 10 digits for my cell phone.

The choices under outdial type in the mbox are route, pool or line. If you have it set to route Ace is right, you should not have to add any pauses.Just 9 and the number. If it is set to pool and you are using line pool A it should be set to Pool 1.Try it with the 9 first then without see if it works.

I had to select route with no number to the right then I removed the pauses. Worked like a champ!

Thanks guys!
