Is this a 201i? First, shut down CallPilot (Ctl-Alt-Del on monitor keyboard, then Shut Down). When it is down and says "safe to power off," then back it out of the shelf an inch or so. Leave it for a minute, then plug it back in. Let it start up normally. Let me know if that works.
thanks for the help I did the ini to no avail my elan was not connected so I did that and re started call pilot and it came up it seems I should have checked my connections better.
