Call pilot/cs1000 5.5

Got a CP 2 that is in a mixed network of 4.5 and 5.5 call servers.
we cannot get express messaging to work when using ip phones 1140/1120s that are off the 5.5 switches. its fine with anything connected to the 4.5 cs1000m switches, we only have 3900 sets on these.
The external caller gets silence and never hears the mailbox greeting, internal callers hear and can leave a msg but msg waiting led never gets to the phone.
the cp2 is on su5 and all the cs are on the lastest dep lists.
any ideas?
 
There are patches to address this that need to be loaded on your signaling servers and are included in the latest DepLists.

Also make sure that you are using the same firmware version for each type of IP phone throughout your network.
 
there was a patch for that at one time..

We recently upgraded our CS 1000s to a CS 1000e to release 5.5. We had to load a patch on the Callpilot Server for it to work properly with the system. I suggest getting the patch. It should resolve the issue.
