Good afternoon.

I have an auto attendant in place that I need to change the greeting for, where and how would I go about changing said greeting. Also within the auto attendant there is a prompt to route a call to the General Delivery Mailbox. But when the digit is dialed the system says that there is no mailbox for 4154600. All mailboxes are 4 digits so I was able to change the destination to 4600 but for some reason it still says there is no mailbox for 4154600. Any thoughts on where I should be looking ?

As always thanks for the help and have a great weekend.

What version of CallPilot are you using? If it is callpilot, then you will have to get into the Application Builder to look at the programming set for that digit dialed. Secondly you may have to set that DN as a Service DN and point it to your voicemail application.

To change the greeting you now have to work with Voice Items and redo the one you want to change. I hope this helps. Post a question on steps that are not clear to you.

Good Luck!

because the cp is seeing "4154600" i would add that number as a dn on the 4600 mailbox. i have one in my box that has an 800 number as a ext dn, before i tried that, making it work was a problem. on my old rls i could add the 1800xxx xxxx to my idc table. idc in load 49 is the only know that changes the dialed dn soon enough for the mail to ignore the dialed digits that the central office (carrier) sends.

the only two places i have used to change recordings are the prompts maint dn or the application builder.. my mail is new (cuts in a couple of weeks) and it has been a couple of years since i went to school on cp rls 1. i've got my new one built but need more screen time before i can help very much
