Hello,

we have a M1 81C R25.40 with CPP, SCCS 4.2 SU12 and CP2.0 SU2. One week ago I was changing some application on CP via Application builder and today I am not able to load any of the applications. The App. Builder starts without any problem. When I click on "Open" icon I can see all my apps. but when I select one and click on open I get the following error message:

The system could not load the application from the server.
Please check the connection to the server and try again.

I tried several versions of App. Builder (38A; 68A; 03G15A). I tried also to reboot CP server and CP client but nothing helps.

Anybody can help?

Thanks a lot!

assuming you have a tested connection to the server, i would look at reloading the app builder.. if it did work and stopped, it may be a network change that has you blocked. the app builder seemed to be a little unstable, i've had to reload that software more then once...

What do you mean by reload?

As I wrote I tested several versions. Therefore I did a reinstallations and I rebooted the client many times!

Thanks!

I had this happen to me where it looks like the App Builder loses connection with the server Make sure you have the newest callpilot application builder 02.01.27.18. If you have a vendor they can get it for you. Also make sure that you have all of the latest PEPs on your call pilot.

I had this happen to me too. I needed to reboot the Call Pilot server and was able to load the App fine.

Hello everybody. Thanks for your effort to help me.

I found the reason of my problem. When you are opening application the Application builder first checks if the application exists on CP server and if yes it is downloaded via FTP. And this is what does not work because the password of the account (cpfilexfer) which is used for downloading of the applications has expired.

Don't you know what shoud be the password and what is the administrative account that I can use to change the password of the account "cpfilexfer"?

Thanks.
