On friday 11 of my 20 access ports had a problem where after the voice message was played the port just froze and the caller heard silence. I ran a test by calling a cdn and hearing a greeting and while i was in the silence state i would disable the channel in Call Pilot and my call would then flow properly according to my script. Long story short I had to disable the 11 ports in Call Pilot then de acquire the ports in Symposium. Then bring the ports back into service. Problem solved. My question is does anybody know what causes this? Within the Symposium Server event log I found a lot of these....
Event Code: 48501
Severity: Major
Description: A VSM request failed during VSM task execution.
Impact: Calls may not receive voice treatments. Calls may be routed to the default skillset (if defined) or default ACD-DN.
Recovery Action: Check the log for related VSM error messages.
VSM Request Failed. (Result: 2. Event: 5. Call ID: 670. File/Funct: .\nitfe_cltaskvsm.cpp/Execute : line 515)
This weekend I am due to have all the current patches installed im my systems however I would like to know what caused my ports to fail.
Thanks
