I am installing a new 600r. I am having troubles getting the channels to come up. The DSP's look fine, but the DS30 are in remote offline state. I have tried to start and stop them with no change. Can anyone confirm if I need a cross-over cable from the MGate card to the CP server DS30 location? I have tried both.

I figured it out, for the archives you can use a straight thru ethernet cable from the Mgate to the CP server. Also when running the Configuration wizard, you MUST choose M1 for switch type if a CS1000. This is what I had wrong, I chose M1 Option 11 ( my CS1000 was a former 11 upgraded ).
