Just wanted to make sure that I should be able to take the CD Drive from a running 201i platform without any issues correct? My spare went out and I need one quickly, I have one that is on a system up and running that I can use, the system also has the backup tape drive but we don’t need it because everything is backed up to our network.

You've probably already done this, but my recommendation would have been to NOT disconnect a operating SCSI device. Things on the SCSI buss get weird when you start disconnecting actives. You wind up breaking the daisy chain and removing buss termination in the process. This can cause lockups...
it's really a crap shoot in my humble opinion....

You need to use the scsi termination plug that comes with the CP if you disconnect the drives. But if you need to reload the languages or other apps, keep the drive available. you will need to reconnect the cable to the drive and reboot CP so that it sees the drive again.
