I have a client that had an issue with a CP150. I have a back up of the site also.
I may have to replace the CP150 as it is loosing programming and defaulting about 60-90 days after we restore everything from back up and re enter key codes.

If I get a replacement 150 and move the codes over from KRS or get a used unit that has the same or close to the same amount of licenses can I restor it from the back up I have ??? There are about 90 users so lots of programming as you can appreciate.

Yes you can.

Many Thanks

Would the same apply to a BCM 50 system.. If I have a 6.0 new box and I bring a back up from a 3.0 box that would not work correct ??

To be clear you can restore programming (greetings and messages etc) to a different CP but the key codes need re-generation to the new system serial number.

BCM no go, has to be a 3.0 if a 3.0 was backed up.
