I believe that the hard drive is flakey but the software cartridge is good. If I replace call pilot will I have to regenerate mailbox keycodes and if so how do I find system ID?

MICS 6.1? does maintenance show the ports as being vmail?

Also is it on the network? if so unplug patch cord and reboot and see what happens.

Boot looks good I think.

Yes, MICS 6.1, maintenance shows ports being stk1, also need to mention after initial power up the 10/100, voicemail, and network leds never light. The
IP can be pinged but voice mail manager will not start. The boot sequence pointed me to hard drive because sysconfig is not found and access will not start

i've had this problem (similar)
when pluged in do the port leds light up , do they stay solid or do they flicker after a bit

if the stay solid , replace power supply , some of the older power supplies cut down on amps , correct voltage but not enough amps to run the system properly
