OK, here is what we need:

When a caller calls in, we offer them the choice of four people in the office through a menu box. Press 1 for Bruce, 2 for Eric, etc. The problem is, Bruce has a pager if he can't be reached on his cellphone and we don't know where/how to give the caller that option.

So we need the sequence to operate like this:

The caller presses 1 to speak to Bruce.
We transfer that call to Bruces Desk in case he is there.
If he is not in, the caller should get the option somehow of:

1. Leave Bruce a voice mail
2. Transfer the call out to Bruces Cellular Phone
3. Transfer the call out to Bruces Pager

Is this done with some kind of information menu/menu box combination or what?

So...I don't see how we do this easily, mainly I don't see how we transfer to his desk and then back out to a menu if he doesn't answer.

It is only my opinion, based on my experience and education...I am always willing to learn, educate me!

how about allowing the outbound transfer and say like leave a msg then say like press pound and 7 to access my cell or how about press * "a number wich bring you back to the ccr tree option for each person so for bruce say in vm box press *5 and have *5 "option 5 on ccr tree go to his cell and then eric *6 so on and so forth also could try double digit for another level on trees

I would record the greeting saying press 7 to try me on my cell or leave me a message and I will be paged. Setup message notification (press admin in MB then 6) and program it to call his pager when he has a message. Setup option 7 in mailbox (press admin in MB then 8) and program it with his cell phone number.

In my system I need to add the string #42 to the front of the phone number (ie. #421508xxxxxxx) this will display D1508xxxxxxx on the screen. I think it stands for wait for dialtone. I then add 2 pauses to the end of the number to make sure it gets completed before it plays the greeting. It's a shame Nortel didn't put this programming in the web interface, it would have made it easier to setup.
