I am planning to upgrade from 4.0 to 6.1 sw. but want to use the release 1 NVM ram cartridge. Is there a reason I need to get the release 2 nvm ram cartridge with the above setup? And reguarding the call center and voice mail, I read in a past thread that you could share this application on the call pilot 150. The proposal is 5 - 8 agents in the queue and probably about 5 - 10 mailboxes, They want the mailboxes to recieve 100 messages? Do I need to purchase any extra software to make a basic call center work? (I realize the reporting software cost$$$)If anyone has an answer to the above 3 questions that would be great. First time I have done a call center application. Any details or suggestions of setting this up is appreciated.

1. You should use VRAM rel 2. There are loss of memory problems with rel 1 and make sure you get the latest MICS software 6.1MR.

2. Yes you can run call center with voice mail in one package. CP150 will give you 32 mailboxes by default so you'll need to buy the licences for as many agents as you need. Be carefull when you first install the CP150 to be sure and select voice mail and not call center. You then add the call center licences. If you select call center on installation you will loose all 32 mialbox licences.

3. No extra software requied other than the licences of the applications in CP150 you want to run.

When you buy a call pilot 150 it should come with 20 mailboxes preloaded, and additional 12 mailboxes in keycodes. I think a 8 seat and a 4 seat keycode or 8 seat 2 seat 2 seat ?? If I am wrong about that please correct me.

Couldn't you get the call pilot, enable it as a call center, then load the 12 mailbox keycode seats. Would that work? or perhaps you loose the CCR functions or something else.

I wouldn't be supprised if the call pilot has to be enabled as a voicemail, then call center user seats enabled, as per Telemarv suggestion. That would mean Nortel make more $$ would't it.

why wud u want to do that as the call center keycodes are included as a part of hte cp150 package

20 inbuilt
8 seat Kc
4 seat kc
1 basic CC KC
2 UM KC

CP150 comes with 22 seats but 2 are SM and Gen, you can have as many as 10 agents logged in at one time. You get to Skillsets and yes you can have up to 8 ccr tree's and auto attendant also. Setup as NVM not callpilot.
