Good morning all. I need to backup a call pilot 150. I believe it is 3.1 but I will confirm. Do I need the CD doc and client and does it have to be 3.1 or can it be a lower version? I do not have a CD where is a reasonable place do get it or is there another way to do a backup? Thanks in advance

Yes you need the CD. It contains the BRU (backup Restore Utility) program. Versions need to match.

Thanks Allworxguy. Any leads where to get a reasonably priced CD? Havent had a lot of success online

Thats awesome curlycord. It will work with any version CP? Never have done it do you have a quick link to the backup/restore procedure? Thanks!

I am guessing it is backwards compatible (the link is from a 3.1 CD), I have never noticed any issues with my backups but at the same time have not noticed what versions they might be on a few.

Go to Operation in CP browser to initiate the backup
Run BRU by selecting "backup", enter the IP
It will take about 45 minutes and will seem to hang for ever about 3/4 ways through, the CP will be down.
