I have a customer that has Call Pilot 150 with Unified messaging. They tell me that the Unified message doesn't go to the Exchange server. Because of this they can't send the message to a Wireless connection (blackberry). Is there anyway to get the message to go to Microsoft exchange?

Not sure if I understand the question but the whole idea of Desktop/Unfied messaging is that it allows use with email clients and that would include Exchange since its the the number one program that business's use...perhaps the tech has not fully installed all components and settings for it not to work in my opinion.
Is the customer setting it up as opposed to a tech? do they have the setup/install manual? is the IP changed on the CP150 to match their network?
There is a huge list of questions I could ask but some help as to how it was setup would be nice and what they have done so far.

The Basic operation of unified messaging does work. You get the message In Outlook and you can listen to the message on the computer or use the computer to call the phone.
The problem is they want the Email with the Message to be sent to a wireless Device such as a blackberry. Also how would they get the message when out of the office.

The problem with forwarding is that it means that Outlook must be active for it to work. I don't really understand Microsoft exchange. But from what I have been told the Voicemail doesn't go to the exchange server. It resides on the Call Pilot. I think what they need is for the Voicemail email message to go to Microsoft exchange. Can this be done?

TecTel,
Don't have answer to your questions but do post if you find out.

Do you ever feel that when the computer simply reads the customer's mind it still won't satisfy the need?

Well the answer to "Is there anyway to get the message to go to Microsoft exchange?" is NO!
The voicemail sends a message to exchange server saying you have vmail....so setup the email account to auto forward that message to the blackberry.

Have you tried or do you know about Off Premise Notification from the Voice Mail boxes?
