We just recently upgraded our call pilot from 201i to 1005r and the upgrade went relatively smooth, but the greetings for all of our night vm boxes are preceded by the system vm box number then the greeting plays. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to change it so just the greeting plays and not the mailbox number?

I don't know why the upgrade would have anything to do with it but it sounds to me like your night mailboxes are accessed through Express Messaging and the Personal Verification is playing. If they are being accessed that way and you don't have a Personal Verification recorded, then it will play the mailbox number before playing the greeting. There are 2 fixes for this that you could try:

1. Record a Personal Verification for those mailboxes or record silence for the Personal Verification.
2. Change the way they are accessed from Express Messaging to Call Answering. In other words, use a blind transfer to a dummy ACD NCFW to CallPilot. Then the greeting only will play, not the Personal Verification.

What version of CP did you come from (fairly sure you went to 5.0 given you are running on one of the new platforms)?

I'm in some agreement with telebub that the upgrade shouldn't have changed anything, but given that you would have changed out the 201i platform card for an MGATE card, did you rebuild the TNs?

Is it possible for you to write out exactly what the system provides (ie, does the system say "Mailbox xxxx"); that might help us diagnose your issue.
