We are trying to configure are Call Center Reporting server but are not having any luck. We have installed the software and followed the directions given to us by Nortel. When trying to upload the skill sets or lines it times out. The RDB server is giving a message saying Bad Packets followed by a bunch of numbers and text. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I didn't think it was wise to use Call Center on a CP100 unless it was not running voicemail. I would get with Nortel or a authorized vendor to troubleshoot this. Sounds like a major problem.

I am sorry, I ment to say Call Pilot 150. Also to add to my previous post, we double checked the master client address into the Call Pilot manager as well. We had a Nortel authorized dealer install and configure the system but they did not help with installing the call center software. To be honest I don't think they knew much of anything about this phone system.

ok...

in your call center callpilot manager.. Did you specify your CP to look at your computers ip address and also did you tell your computer to look at the cp ip address. There is a setting you have to fill in the cp manager in order to do that. Also, the 2 devices (CP and Computer) must have static IP addresses. This should solve your problem.

Nam

I told the Call Pilot to look at the computer IP address but I cant find a spot in the computer to tell it to look at the Call Pilot. I believe in older versions of the call center software it had a spot for the ip but in version 2.5 I cant find anything.

it is in the secutiry section of the RDB master client software. Thats the only place where the CP ip address should be put. Your computer must also have a static IP. you can not have windows search for an IP address automatically because it will change sooner or later.

I´m not sure, but i think the call center software on CP doesn´t come installed but you have to install usig the key codes in instaled options. recentely i did it.because my CP have the option but didn´t come istalled, you have to ask this codes to your vendor.

Armandel. You are correct in this matter.. the basic call center and the reporting sw keycodes must be applied to the Call Pilot before you begin.

I am assuming, tiburon has the keycodes applied and that he followed instructions from Nortel by what he said.

Both the CP and the computer have a static IP. The instructions we have show the IP going into the security section also but when we go into the configuration screen our security tab is replaced with a password tab. We use the 900 user id to sign in so it should give us full permissions.

Yes, we have applied the keycodes and they are showing the correct product in the CP.

What version of Call Center Reporting Master do you have. The version that I know of is.... I think its 3.0.027.

We have version 2.5.060 Is there a newer version? If so how do I go about getting a copy.
