I had a request from a non-profit that I volunteer for to make some changes to their voicemail. They currently have Startalk Flash. The office is closed on Wednesday. During the day, they want a choice in the Home menu to speak with the on-call physician. On Wednesday only between 8AM and $PM they want the call to stay in the office - Transfer to the doctor's station. The non-business kicks in at 4PM. They want the CCR selection to transfer to an outside number which is an answering service at the local hospital. I don't believe that I can do this with a Star talk because the lines can only be assigned to one greeting table at a time. Would I be able to do this with a Call Pilot 100 which has multiple CCR trees?

I am in a pinch to figure this out, because they want the changes this Saturday morning. Any help from the forum would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

rcdd

Flash has 2 Trees and 2 tables, the CP has 8 , I don't think more trees or tables will do you any good.

Your times are very confusing, almost appears to be backwards....On Call is usually at night or when closed.

On CP you can tell a different tree to play during parts of the day but unfortunately not of the week.
i.e CCR 1 is Morning, CCR 2 afternoon then CCR 1 back again at night.

You can however tell a day its start and stop time so change Wed (if closed) to match the regular closed times.
i.e Tuesday Open 8am close 4pm and Wednesday Open 1200am and close 1201am (the whole day will play the closed greeting)
This means every night, weekends? and all day Wednesday will have the same greeting play.

This might not help if you want only On Call on Wed and not when closed for the other days.

you could just have the ccr transfer to an extension and when they need to forward the call off site, forward the extension to an external number. setup a call forward button and a speed dial key for the external number for easy setup and cancel.

I had that thought too last night but was late and forgot to note it, I was thinking same but use a route or routes then all you need to do is forward to the dest code.
Maybe even 2 phones setup that are permanently forwarded and utilize Service Modes as a crazy option.

External Forward at the set requires 4.1 software (or up) on the KSU.

I want to thank you folks for the reply to my post. As you confirmed in your replies, what the non-profit wanted was not possible with either the Flash Talk or CP100.

I convinced them to use a sub-menu with a greeting signifying the times that each sub-menu option should be chosen. It has been a week and seems to be working out OK for them.

Thanks again!
