I've got a Call Pilot that I recently installed and is working fine except that the user wanted to go in via the network interface to make changes to the greetings. He managed to but then called and said he can get in, but he can't get the call pilot to connect to his extension. I checked remotely and suggested rebooting it. Now he can't get in and I couldn't either. He claimed he couldn't ping it either. On-site I tried and found varying results, but ultimately when I could ping it, it still displayed "Web page not found" when I tried to access it? I didn't have a serial cable with me that day but intend on going back to check it with that. Seems odd? Any comments?

Seems to me you folks may have hosed up the ip settings on the systems however it is more likely you are not connecting to the correct ip as this system does not work as a dhcp box , you have to put in the correct assigned ip.

You should always note the IP in you system and ptouch label that CP onsite too.

"but ultimately when I could ping it"

Do you mean "I can ping it but still cannot access the web page?"

If you can ping the CP, you have browser issue.

Try Firefox or Opera. IE is problematic, especially newer versions.
