Call Pilot 100 on a 8x24 DR5

I have set-up a Call Pilot 100 on a DR5 8x24 as a test. All feature codes are active (FXtest). I know that Nortel wants 4.1 or better. Has anyone been sucessfull with a DR5 integration? Are there problems with call transfer, off prem transfer etc. Look forward to the responses.
 
If you put a system on a system and they are not compatible then anything can happen, sometimes it will work and sometimes not.
Just because they say active will not mean they will work, they might work but only sometimes or will throw a glitch or will cause something else to not work. Or next time system is rebooted a glich happens or everything is outta wack.
Sometimes nothing will seem to be wrong if they dont use vmail that much or all its features but something is wrong or will/may go wrong.

It will cause the vendor and the customer grief therefore why I wouldnt even dream of putting 2 systems together that are not compatible.

They are better off with a NAM or Flash if they have an old 8X24.


 
Call Pilot is only supported only on the 3x8 DR5.1. It is not supported on any 8x24 platform. Like curly said you might get lucky and get some features but according to Nortel it is not compatible with the 8x24.
 
By way of example- One of our customers bought a CP100, and wanted it installed on their CICS. When I got there, I found it was 2.0 sw. I installed it anyway, and it worked fine while I was on site, but every morning the feature codes returned "inactive feature".

Of course, everything worked fine when I upgraded the KSU sw.
