I have a customer that is getting delayed messages out of one mailbox on the call pilot. I know that there had been discussions about this on the NAM but does anyone else know of problems on the Call Pilot?

Jerry, That's not good news. Thought all of that was behind us.

This customer has had problems from the start, the voicemail was locking up and requireing resets from the first day. Replaced the VM and in doing the restore from backup all of the basic mailbox authorizations were deleted. So the system then had more mailboxes built than authorizations to have mailboxes, none of the mailboxes would work but the AA and VM were acting like they were. Got the original ten back from ITAS and thought they were running happy but now this. I suggested to the customer that they delete that mailbix and re-build and will find out this week if that worked.

thanks

the customer is re-building the mailbox right now so want to let it run for a couple of days and see if the problem comes back. should have the latest software since the installation is only about 2 months old. but will check if still getting delays. thanks

2 months could still be a 1.5 CP instead of the 2.0. It would depend on where it came from.

The restore to another CP will kill all the mailbox authorizations. Found that one out the hard way too. ITAS fixed me up real quick.

Once they rebuild it, have them check under Configuration \ System Properties in the web interface. That will tell you what Voice Mail version they are running. If it is not 02.00.51.00 then you should get a hold of the upgrade software. It's real easy to upgrade if you have a 9 pin serial cable and a laptop or PC.

I had the customer delete and re-build the mailbox and since then they have been ok. For Your Info the CP is 1.5 but I have not had to re-load the firmware, Ill keep that in mind though. thanks all
