How do I send a call to voicemail? Say it’s ringing (and thank goodness I have caller id!) and I don’t want to talk to them. Is there a button I can press to send them to straight to the general mailbox?

I have tried DND but it still Flashes on the set.????

Switch info: have a MICS 7.1 and CP100.

Try F987

This tells all calls to go straight to vmail

The only thing is i dont know if it will work whne the call is already ringing at your set.

You can also setup Screen Tranfer with the Call Pilot, this will ring your set and you can then choose to answer or send to vmail.

If it's the same person you can also setup the Call Pilot to send that call to vmail via the CLID table.

I thought Ftr987 was Call Interrupt, it brings a call out of Vmail, not in. Ftr984 forwards to Vmail, but don't think it works after it starts to ring. Just DND, you'll not hear the ring and they won't know you shortened the ring and sent them to Vmail.

Dewey's right. F984 will only work if it's pressed before the call comes in. DND is your best option. Or just ignore the call.
