AA is answering with message. Caller enters 2xx for transfer to phone. Call pilot is not transferring?

In Main Menu,Check class of service restriction there are all restricted, allow the 2 and try it again

I have tested by dialing in on line one. The message states " you have reached and invalid extension."

I dial in and hit line 2 and get transferred correctly.

My thought is either c.o. is not send DTMF tones or line 1 port is faulty.

Anyone run into this?

I had this happen today with a customer, not sure of the VM but it was on an 8X24 where you could enter an Ext# while listening to Greeting 1 but not while listening to a Path in CCR.
We figured out * then the ext # worked to be tranferred from a Path in CCR.

I am/was not not sure what cause's this off the bat but I know of 2 previous times that I have heard greetings on non bix related sites where you were asked to press * then the ext# on Norstar VM's.

I blamed it being too old of a VM and dismissed the call lol.

Intresting in this case, if dkdivot proves one or the other I will do the same somewhat but suggest dkdivot tries a * just to see if same problem.

Yes, you will need to * to the AA from a ccr tree, or path in that tree. Make sure return to AA is enabled, or include the path 0 recording in your AA greeting.

I always figured that was because the system is waiting for a dtmf selection in the ccr, and that prohibits dialing an extension from there. Other systems have a half second or so dtmf delay before it accepts an entry, and you won't have this issue.
