I have a customer that I set up an aa for. I used greeting 1 for example, dial 21 for receptionist, 22 for bill, etc. I Didn't set up the ccr tree, I was trying to keep it simple for customer to change their own greetings options. My problem is when you dial an ext. # it dumps you right into their mailbox and doesn't wring their phone. What do I need to do to wring their phone first?

Thanks

If I set up the ccr tree will it still allow me to dial the 2 digit extension #'s, or will it have to be press 1 for recept, 2 for bill etc,

thanks

I think you'll have to enter in a prompt but you can have the call flow directly to your target (2 digits exten for recept or whom ever) after dialing it.

Ok i set up greeting 1 and ccr 1. I have the ccr enabled and assigned properly. The ccr tree transfers the way it is supposed to. When the greeting picks up Saying "If you know your parties extension dial it now" (2 digit) it automatically goes to voicemail. The call pilot 100 is version 3.1

thanks

Somethings not right. It should ring the telephone when just digits are pressed, only if you you precede with a * should it go to vmail. Is it possible the DNs are hard forwarded to Vmail DN? Try building a Path, single digit option, and see if it rings the set or goes directly to Vmail.

where would I check to see if they were hard forwarded to voicemail? I already have the single digits working in the ccr. It rings the sets fine.

You would deactivate from the telephone by pressing Ftr # 4.

But, if you've got it working with CCR paths and they're ringing the telephone, that wasn't the issue.

First disable the general delivery mailbox, make sure every phone is set to one more ring than the aa good luck

would that have anything to do with my problem?

just a few basics
a) do they have an intercom path
b) is fna set-up for "0" rings
c) is fob turned on
again sorry to point out the obvious
also once you are into a ccr you cannot dial by ext. #, but I am going to 2x chk that.

cook 1082, where would i enable dn dialing? I don't remember seeing that.

wallys world, I have intercom paths built. My fna is set to 6 rings. I don't know what fob is. I am trying to dial the 2 digit # during the greeting, not the ccr tree.

thanks.

Cook would answer , enable DN Dialing under the Greeting Table for your incoming line number. It's a check at the top.(fob, is Forward On Busy).

would this be in the programming going through the phone, or using the web browser into the call pilot
