Call Pilot 02.01.07 with bad hard drive

I have a Call Pilot 02.01.07
It is running Windows NT server with what appears to be 2 SCSI drives mirrored.
One of the drives has failed, the SCSI controller dose not even recognize that it is there.
Can I simply replace the drive with similar drive? The Drive is a Maxtor 8B036L0021611.
Is there any good source for the drive? ( I have found several on the internet)
If so will it start mirroring or will I need to do something?
Dose the Windows also mirror and thus make a second boot incase the other drive fails?
