call pickup

we have call manager express at our remote locations. I have setup a call pickup group at one location and it is working fine. I want to set it up at another location and when I push the pickup soft key all I get is a dial tone. Am I missing a step?

You need to set up the pick up group, then assign it in the phone.
In the extension dropdown, choose a phone then there is a place towards the bottom for call pick up. I do not have an Express any more, so cannot tell you how to set up pick up group in it, if I remember correctly, it may be just an entry you put in each phone you want in each particular group. If you look in your system with that option, you should see how it is set up.

Do you recall where I would go to set up the group? On the one that is working I do not have anything setup under groups.

Do you have Gpickup as one of your soft keys on the phone?
If so just enter 1 in two different phones as I said above. Call one, then see if you can pick up that call from the other. I seem to remember it was automatic, but that was several years ago so I could be mistaken.
