Call pickup transfer back to original extn

If I pickup a call from an extn should I be allowed to transfer the call back to that extn?

Doesn't seem to work, is there any way around this?

CM6 btw

From Avaya support site:

Solution
Disable Temporary Bridged Appearance on Call Pickup parameter.

Modify one parameter on 4th page of "change system-parameters features"
