Call Pickup Button

I have programmed two new call pickup buttons on a extension to mirror another extension that already had it. The new buttons don't work as when the user tries to pickup the call, she gets a busy signal. Is there something that I missed in programming? Thanks In Advance.

You may need to tell us more. What Merlin are you running?

If Legend or Magix, how have you programmed your pickup button? It can be programmed to pickup a specific extension, or a line, or the assigned pickup group. Or, it could be programmed to wait for you to dial something.

My bad, it's a Magix and I programmed them to pickup two specific extensions. They use DID's at this site as well.

What code for the call pick-up button? *9 and ext? If you used this code, it would be busy until the extension is ringing. Only then would it connect the call...DID or not.

Yes that's the code I used. I'll be testing with the customer first thing this morning.
