I have read the chapter on Call Park but still can't find any info on what happens when a parked call is recalled to the originating set but that set then doesn't answer. I know how to use park and I've set it up, but I did not set the RECA to my attendant. I want it to come back to originating phone. However, when it does, it just rings and rings, instead of forward no answering to the originating phone's FNA. I need to be able to explain to the powers that be WHY it doesn't forward no answer but, like I just said, can't find anything in the NTP that explains that scenario. your help is appreciated. Thank you.

read the section under rdr data in your cdb, not in the switch room or i'd give you the exact prompt.

Dear John, I can't figure out which prompt under RDR_DATA tells me the treatment unretrieved parked calls get when the CPK block is set to not route them to the attendant. So far all I'm getting is ring no answer when the call reverts to my set. thank you for your help.

coniglio:

Code:
>LD 15
REQ: CHG
TYPE: RDR

TYPE RDR_DATA
CUST 0
OPT [B]CPA[/B] (Call Park Allowed)

(carraige return through)

I believe that's what johnpoole is referring to.

yes, I did find that, but this isn't what I'm looking for.
The CPK is built; parking works great! my problem is, if I park a call, and it recalls to my set (not to the attendant) and I don't answer it, the call rings no answer and I am trying to determine why it rings no answer and if I can somehow change it to go into my voicemail instead. It's highly unlikely that this scenario will ever present itself, but my CEO is asking about this and I need to give him an answer. Thank you.

coniglio, I believe your answer will be "design intent" (or lack thereof, whatever)

so in other words parked calls recall, and then ring forever. I wonder why the Call Park chapter doesn't address the scenario of what happens to an unanswered recalled park call? Well thank you anyway SandyML, and everyone else, too.
