New install with IPO 11.1.1.1_build 18 software. Part of this system is 30 3rd Party SIP licenses to support the Bria Stretto SIP Android App on the customer's handheld Zebra inventory scanners. The phone app works fine, you can make, receive, and transfer calls with no problem. During a live call there is an option for Call Park and this is where I'm having a problem. I cannot get the Call Park feature working. In the on-line configuration tool for each handheld device there are 3 fields that need to be populated with Call Park configuration parameters:
Call Park Extension This configuration parameter is for Call Park extension. This is expected to be a valid PBX star code that can be used as a transfer target.
(the example that's given is *5201)
Call Park Location - This configuration parameter is for the identifying string for the call park location (i.e. the string that is shown after the transfer succeeds in the place of XX in the above description. (not really sure what they mean by XX in the above description, possibly the 01, but not sure)
Call Park ModeThis configuration parameter is the call park mode. This setting will be distinguishing whether the client should be using attended transfer or unattended transfer. 0 for unattended transfer, 1 for attended transfer. Default is 0 Note: for Avaya PBX you will use option 2 (Not clear, but I think option 2 refers to 1 for attended transfer)
In the Call Park Extension I entered the default Call Park short code of *37*N#
In the Call Park Location I entered 101 as a Park Slot
In the third field I used 1 - attended transfer

Unfortunately every time I try to park a call the call just drops.

Any ideas that some of you IPO Gurus out there might have would be greatly appreciated.

The IPO default Park code *37*N# is for a Park Location of indeterminate length.

Try adding a code like *72XX / Park Call / N (which would be a 2 digit park code of 01 through 99)

Then you might try Call Park Extension as *72, and Call Park Location as a 2-digit number.

Is this configured on a per-Bria extension basis? Perhaps have each extension park into its own park code?

Yes, each Bria has those 3 fields to populate so I will set up an individual Park code for each phone. I'm heading over there now so will let you know what happens, but your suggestions definitely have merit.

Hey TTT thanks to your hints I did get it working. As you suggested I created a Short Code of *72XXX (3 digit Park Code) / Park Call / N

The Call Park Extension had to be set as *72100 as *72 didn't work at all and *72XXX tried to park the call on XXX
The Call Park Location had no effect at all
The Call Park Mode had to be set as 1

On an active call when Call Park is selected the display on the Bria says *72100 and the call is then parked on 100 as seen in System Status. You need to use UnPark to retrieve the call on any phone including the Bria.
I will configure each Bria with their own Park Code from 100 up to 130.
