I have a customer who wants a "Call Park" solution for his Advanced Small Community Networking environment. He has 2 locations, each with about 50 phones. They are sharing the VM Pro across the SCN via MPLS. Each location has a receptionist that will take turns answering the phones. They want to Park a call so that the caller can pickup from either location. Also, anyone should be able to do this if they so choose. So far I have short codes of *8001 on both systems. On the second system the *8001 just dials *8001 over the IP line but I get a busy signal and the phone systems incompatible.

I was thinking about creating a Huntgroup call Call Park 1 with extention 8001 with queueing turned on, no voicemail. When the call is parked it is really transferred to HG 8001 where it sits in queue. The receptionist makes a page announcing the call park. The user hits a button or dials a short code that does feature Call Pickup for that Huntgroup. Should this work or are there any other suggestions that I might review?
