Hi We are running CallManager 3.2 at a central location and at our remote locations use the routers as what our WAN provider call a "Voice Gateway". Anyway apparantly the routers can do some of the CallManager features such as ddi alocation and rerouting of calls if the main WAN link fails.

Does anyone know if this kind of functionality can be moved from the router to the switch

Thanks

If you are looking at Cisco Routers taking over the functions of a central call manager in the event of a WAN link failure then your friend here is Survivable Remote Site Technology, or SRST, feed that into Cisco and you will get all the info.

You cant move any IP Voice functions onto the Switch though.
